I have started my cricket career from St. Anthony s College Kandy for under 12 school cricket team. Then I continuously played under 15,17 and under 19 school teams and also played for Central province cricket team from under 15 to under 19. Captained under 17 Central province team. Vice captain of the school 1st XI cricket team and got 105 wickets and scored 550 runs. For that performances I have nominated for the all island best bowler award and all island best all rounder award in Sri Lanka schools cricket awards ceremony 2011. Then I started my first class cricket career from Kurunegala Youth cricket club in 2012. Got match bag 10 wickets against Police SC on my first class debut game. And also this year I awarded as a Sri Lanka Premier Twenty 20 best bowler at the Sri Lanka cricket awards ceremony 2013.
