Geeth Perera has represented Kalutara Town Club and Sri Lanka Airforce Sports Club at the first class level. Geeth Perera captained the Anuradhapura District Under 23 cricket team in 2018 and was the highest run getter for the team including a century. That performance helped Geeth Perera to be selected for the Dambulla Province Under 23 cricket team in the super provincial Under 23 cricket tournament in 2018. Geeth Perera captained the Esoft Metro Campus which reached semi finals in the Redbull Campus cricket tournament Finals Sri Lanka in 2019.
